LAKEWATCH reports
Florida LAKEWATCH produces detailed water quality reports as well as other types of reports for many monitored waterbodies:
- Water Quality Reports are organized by county and waterbody name. These reports provide multi-year overviews of waterbody conditions, including nutrient levels, water clarity, and trophic state.
- Fish Community Reports contain results from contracted fish surveys in select lakes. They include catch per unit effort, diversity metrics, Florida bass size distribution, and comparison to prior surveys.
- Fish Mercury Reports include total mercury (THg) concentration in select fish species and lakes, usually as a result of specific contracts or research projects. Background information on mercury accumulation in fish, as well as simple statistical analyses, are included.
