    LAKEWATCH Reports

Understand Long-Term Trends for Florida Lakes

Florida LAKEWATCH produces detailed Waterbody Summary Reports for many monitored lakes.

Water Chemistry Reports are organized by county and water type (Lake, River/Stream/Estuary). These reports provide multi-year overviews of lake conditions, including nutrient levels, water clarity, and trophic state.

Fish Community Reports contain results from contracted fish surveys in select lakes. They include catch per unit effort, diversity metrics, Florida bass size distribution, and comparison to prior surveys.

Fish Mercury Reports include total mercury (THg) concentration in select fish species and lakes, usually as a result of specific contracts or research projects. Background information on mercury accumulation in fish, as well as simple statistical analyses are included.
