The Toxic Algae Threat in Florida - A More Tempered View. by Dr. Ed Phlips

Between 1986 and 2003 Florida LAKEWATCH volunteers have sampled in 56 counties, a total of:
1871 water bodies, including 1213 lakes, 280 coastal sites,
204 river sites, and 9 springs!

Fishing For Success was awarded the prestigious Department of Agriculture (USDA) Secretary's Honor Award in 2003, for "Enhancing the Capacity of All Rural Residents, Communities and Businesses to Prosper."

"For Your Outstanding Efforts to Promote Recreational Activities in Gainesville"

Mayor Pegeen Hanrahan proclaimed January 23rd, 2006 as a day to honor Dr. Dan Canfield as a 2005 Albert "Ray" Massey Citizen Volunteer
