Florida LAKEWATCH Water Chemistry Summary
Location: Latitude 29°30'33", Longitude 81°35'33"
Period of record: 100 sampling dates; April 13, 1987 to December 20, 1999
Surface area (LAKEWATCH): 471 acres / 191 hectacres (Bathymetric Map)
Lake Region (Griffith et al. 1997): Crescent City/DeLand Ridges
Geologic formation (Brooks 1981):
The geology is a mixture of two major types dominated by sand dunes and well sorted fine sand of the Pleistocene and coastal sand and shelly silty sand of the preglacial Pleistocene.
Physiographic region (Brooks 1981):
The water body lies in the St. Johns Offset division of the Central Lake District.
