Florida LAKEWATCH will provide Publix deli sandwiches (ham, turkey & roast beef) a veggie platter, chips, soft drinks and water.  If you would like to bring a dessert or side dish to share, feel free to do so. The following attractions will also be provided:

•  Primary Florida LAKEWATCH volunteers can pick-up their data packets.

•  Hands-on exhibit of aquatic plants and invertebrates will be displayed. If you have an aquatic
plant, algae or “bug” that you’re curious about, bring it along for identification and discussion.

• Discuss your water body concerns, ask questions about management issues, talk with other LAKEWATCH folks, and find out “what’s happening” in general. Regional Coordinators will also   be available to instruct volunteers who have questions about proper sampling procedures.

•  As you may or may not know, we have been working hard on raising funds to construct a building for Florida LakeWatch. We are now collecting aluminum cans. We are asking that you join in and donate your aluminum cans to help continue this effort. You can drop them off at any LAKEWATCH Regional Meeting.
