BBQ Dinner
When: Wednesday, February 15, 2012
Time: 5:30 p.m.
Where: Stuart Conference
Center at the Polk County Agricultural Center.
The Building is located at 1702 U.S. Hwy 17 South in Bartow.
Please RSVP by Monday, February 13th, 2012. Call LAKEWATCH at 1-800-525-3928 (1-800-LAKEWATch) and leave a message
including your name, water body name (if you're a volunteer), and how many
people will attend.
Details:
Florida LAKEWATCH will provide Sonny’s BBQ chicken, turkey, pork, beef, baked beans, cole slaw, garlic bread, soft drinks and water. Desserts or side dishes to share are also welcome. The following attractions will also be provided.
- Primary Florida LAKEWATCH volunteers can pick-up their data packets.

A hands on exhibit of aquatic plants and invertebrates will be set up.
If you have an aquatic plant, algae sample, or "bug" that you're curious about, bring
it along for identification and discussion.

Discuss your water body concerns, ask questions about management issues,
talk with other LAKEWATCH folks, and find out what's happening in general.
