Volunteer Appreciation BBQ Dinner

Please RSVP by November 30. Call 1-800-525-3928 or (1-800-LAKEWATch) and leave a message including your name, water body name (if you're a volunteer), and how many will attend

Details:

Florida LAKEWATCH will provide Sonny’s BBQ chicken, beef, turkey, pork, baked beans, cole slaw, garlic bread, soft drinks and water. Desserts or side dishes to share are also welcome. The following attractions will also be provided:

 
Primary Florida LAKEWATCH volunteers can pick-up their data packets.
  • Hands-on exhibit of aquatic plants and invertebrates will be displayed. If you have an aquatic plant, algae or “bug” that you’re curious about, bring it along for identification and discussion.
  • Discuss your waterbody concerns, ask questions about management issues, talk with other LAKEWATCH folks, and find out what's happening in general.
  • This year we will be refurbishing sampling equipment if needed. Be sure to check your sampling kit for  any defective equipment and bring it with you. We will gladly replace any worn or broken equipment.
